The Lion Fund Raises Stake in Friendly Ice Cream (FRN) to 11.11%

In an amended 13D filing on Friendly Ice Cream Corp. (AMEX: FRN), The Lion Fund disclosed an 11.11% stake (881K shares) in the company, this is up from the 8% stake the firm disclosed in a recent filing.

In the original 13D filing (08/07) the firm said it may be in contact with, among other persons, members of the Company's management, members of the Company's Board of Directors, and other significant shareholders.
