Loeb Partners on Mercer Insurance (MIGP): Whoops! Did We Say Liquidate - Sorry

In a quickly amended 13D filing Friday on Mercer Insurance Group Inc. (Nasdaq: MIGP), 5.17% holder Loeb Partners said they made a statement in error regarding the company. In the prior filing the company stated that they believed the company must sell itself or completely liquidate. The firm said this statement was inadvertent and is not their intention.

The error could have been related to a bad cut and paste job from the firm's past 13D filing on ESS Technology, in which they called on the company to sell or completely liquidate.
