Bulldog Investors Discloses 8.7% Stake in Ready Mix (RMX)

In a 13D filing this morning on Ready Mix, Inc. (AMEX: RMX), Phillip Goldstein/Bulldog Investors/Andrew Dakos disclosed an 8.7% stake (330K shares) in the company.

In a standard disclosure the group said it acquired the shares of RMX for investment purposes. They also said they may communicate with management on ways to enhance shareholder value.

Goldstein recently made news after petitioning the SEC to be exempt from rules that require hedge funds with more than $100 million disclose their holdings every three months in 13F filings. Goldstein said his funds' holdings are "trade secrets".
